There are approximately 1000 Korean language schools in the United States, most of which focus primarily on children. The Korean Language Center of NY was founded to teach skills suitable for adults and practical for the professional environment. KLC teaches the communication skills that can be used on a day to day basis. Many students attend KLC to either pursue a new challenge or enrich their current professional skills in Corporate America. KLC supports and has accommodated many professionals in finance, law, medicine, business, and etc. in support of expanding and enhancing their careers.

The staff at the Korean Language Center of NY has outstanding academic credentials and extensive professional experience. These professors have taught Korean for many years to foreign professionals stationed in Korea at the world renowned "Korean Language Institute at Yonsei University".  Within the United States, they each have had more than 25 years of experience teaching Korean at many reputable schools, including New York University. The Korean Language Center of NY will use its unique modern teaching method to emphasize conversation, listening, reading, and writing skills. An introduction to Korean culture and tradition will be incorporated into the curriculum in order to provide students with a well-rounded Korean education as well as a greater understanding of the language. The Korean Language Center of NY offers programs that are suitable for students at every level ranging from basic introductory for beginners to the more intensive courses for the advanced. Saturday and Intensive summer programs are also available.
